Global Security Group’s CEO, Montague Hall started his law enforcement career in 1993 as a member of the elite U.S. Coast Guard’s Special Operations Unit Miami, Florida. Montague played a key role in securing our nation’s gaming borders in the battle against narcotics, human traffickers and terrorism. Montague spent several years in South and Central America and in the Caribbean’s developing and instructing techniques on counter-drug, human smuggling tactics and identifying signs of possible terrorism involvement. He also coordinated and participated in security details for U.S. and Foreign Officials.
In 1999 Montague joined the Harvey, IL police department where he worked as a patrol officer. While assigned to the patrol division he was the acting supervisor for the Field Training Officer (FTO) program. During this time Montague perfected the Community Police Officer Program (C.P.O.P), which is taught to and instilled in every employee at Global Security Group.
In 2001 Montague transferred to the Waukegan Police Department. During his tenure he has served in the patrol division, tactical unit, criminal investigations unit, drug and gang unit and with the US Department of Homeland Security Investigation unit.
Montague is the co-author of the acclaimed training series “Gang Combat Dynamics” a series of training courses instructed to federal, state, local police and security officers. These courses were designed to provide each officer with the tools and knowledge they need to vigorously target, investigate, interview, prosecute and prevent and deter resurgence of criminal street gangs.
Montague is a nationally recognized lecturer, providing law enforcement training to federal, state and local police officers. He has also spoken at numerous training conferences for teachers, security officers, corporations and other community venues focusing on law enforcement and security issues in today’s society.
Montague has taken his law enforcement experience and made it available to the public by opening the doors of Global Security Group.
